DreamBoard – An Alternative To WinterBoard For Jailbreak Themers

WinterBoard has been the skinning app of choice for many-a-jailbreaker for a good long while now, and it’s done a sterling job. Now though, it’s perhaps time for a challenger to try to break the equilibrium. That challenger is DreamBoard.

Now before you all read that opening paragraph and go delete WinterBoard, allow me to explain. DreamBoard is actually a little different to WinterBoard. The new DreamBoard is more of a way to apply themes to an iDevice rather than the more granular (if you want it) option of WinterBoard.

DreamBoard’s real party-piece is the ability to make an iOS device look more like Android. Out go the rows of icons and in come the widgets.

The best thing to do is to watch the video below, where you’ll see fancy new weather and Facebook widgets. Worth a watch indeed.

Cydia Expands to Make Custom Cases for Themes !

With the growing success of Cydia, it seems apparent that Cydia is going to be starting to make cases for its themes. These cases will be available for purchase in due time. The cases will match the theme of your choice.

Here's a quote from Patrick J. Dietzan, VP of Business Development:

We are soon going to be selling skins for all major iDevices. We would like to offer users skins that match the themes being sold in Cydia. These skins will allow people to fully customize the physical exterior appearance of their device in addition to the look/feel of the graphical user interface. The skins are made of premium vinyl from 3M and fit perfectly onto all iDevices. They can also be removed at any point without issue. Users will be able to theme the physical look of their phone and regularly change it to whatever they desire.

Download iPhone OS 4 Official Wallpapers [New Set]

The New iPhone OS 4 Beta 4 Came with New Features and Packs of 25 Amazing Wallpapers and If you don't have the access to the Beta I will show you how to download them  and sync it with your iPhone and iPod touch, I think Apple hasn't updated their Wallpapers Stock since the iPhone 1.x So that's really great from Apple to update it in the OS 4.

To get these Wallpapers on your iPhone, Simply follow this steps on your Computer and on your iPhone:
Step 1: Select the Image you want, Then Save it to your Computer by right-clicking it and selecting "Save Image As..." or by dragging it onto your desktop.
Step 2: In iTunes, make sure that the folder you stuck the wallpapers into is selected to sync with your iPhone.
Step 3: Now on your iPhone, Select the Image you want.. Then tap-and-hold the image to get the option to save it to your iPhone.

If you want to use these as your homescreen wallpaper on iPhone OS 3.x then you will have to first jailbreak your iPhone using Spirit and install Winterboard app from Cydia. you can find the full guide here.
